I was born and raised in New York.
I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology from St. Thomas Aquinas College (NY) in 2002 summa cum laude. In 2004, I earned my masters in counseling psychology from Pace University (NY). In 2008, I graduated from Argosy University (TX) with my doctorate in clinical psychology.
Throughout my work experience, I have been exposed to many varied clinical settings. My introduction to the field started at the age of 17 when I was a residence counselor for a nonprofit mental health organization in New York. Over time, as I moved through the field, I worked in outpatient mental health clinics, non-profit assessment centers, a state psychiatric hospital, diagnostic reception center, residential treatment center, group home organizations and a community group private practice in the Lehigh Valley.
I have provided child/adolescent, individual, family, and couples counseling as well as in-home case management. When living in Dallas, Texas for my doctoral program, I worked with the county-level courts in providing court-ordered assessments for children and adolescents due to truancy at school or delinquency charges in the community.
I truly enjoy working with individuals throughout all subsets of life. My primary passion is families and lifespan services; helping people adjust to transitional stages throughout their lives, whether that is school-transitions, marriage, divorce, life-stressors, developmental disabilities, academic difficulties, motivational issues, relationship roadblocks, grief and loss, geographic relocations, etc.
